  엔씨가 '아이온2' 어뷰징 행위에 대해 강경 대응을 예고했다.
 엔씨는 21일 오후 7시 30분 아이온2 라이브 방송을 진행했다. 김남준 아이온2 개발PD와 소인섭 아이온2 사업실장이 서버 이전과 클래스 조정 내용을 공유했다.
 22일부터 일주일간 서버 이전이 진행된다. 계정당 1회 이용할 수 있으며 45레벨 이상 캐릭터가 대상이다. 비용은 기본 1000큐나에 캐릭터를 추가할 때마다 200큐나가 더해져, 한 캐릭터만 옮길 경우 1200큐나가 든다. 신청은 매일 저녁 8시에 열린다.
 서버별 전입 인원에는 제한이 있다. 인구가 많은 서버는 배정된 인원이 적어 경쟁이 치열할 전망이다. 첫날은 안정성 확보를 위해 인원을 적게 열고 상황을 보며 조절할 방침이며, 이번에 넘어가지 못한 유저를 위해 추가 기회도 마련한다.
 캐릭터가 보유한 정보는 대부분 그대로 넘어간다. 키나와 큐나, 마일리지, 멤버십과 패스, 성장 서포트, 펫과 외형, 시즌 랭킹 포인트가 모두 이전된다. 콘텐츠 이용 횟수도 초기화되지 않고 그대로 유지되며, 이전한 캐릭터는 접속 시 이름을 새로 설정해야 한다.
 클래스 조정도 이뤄진다. 검성, 수호성, 권성, 호법성, 정령성, 궁성, 치유성이 대상이다. 파티에 제공하는 시너지를 소폭 낮추는 대신 각 클래스 자체의 딜을 끌어올리는 방향으로 조정됐으며, 보호와 무적 계열 스킬의 유지 시간도 함께 줄어든다.
 검성은 별도의 손질이 예고됐다. 인터넷 환경에 따라 성능 차이가 발생한다는 지적을 반영해 관련 메커니즘을 손볼 계획이다. 다만 아직 방식이 확정되지 않아 테스트를 거친 뒤 적용 전에 별도로 안내할 예정이다.
 향후 업데이트로 투명 지도 기능이 도입된다. 이용자가 직접 투명도를 조절할 수 있다. 자동 줍기 기능은 다음 주 추가되며, 콰이링 멤버십 활성화 상태에서 캐릭터 단위로 30일간 이용할 수 있다. 
 어뷰징 의혹에 대한 대응 방침도 밝혔다. 최근 커뮤니티를 통해 제기된 사례를 포함해 운영실에서 관련 로그를 전수 조사하고 있으며, 영상 등 명확한 증거가 확인되면 예외 없이 제재한다.
 제재 수위는 운영 정책에 따라 7일 정지부터 영구 정지까지 적용된다. 혼돈의 에레슈란타 표층과 시공의 균열, 어비스 등 콘텐츠 전반이 조사 대상에 포함된다.
