 엔씨소프트 '아이온2' 개발진이 서울, 강원도, 제주도를 직접 방문해 유저를 만난다.
 엔씨소프트는 24일 오후 7시 30분 아이온2 라이브 방송을 진행했다. 김남준 아이온2 개발PD와 소인섭 아이온2 사업실장이 금주 적용될 주요 조정 사항과 혼돈의 어비스, 스티그마 개편 등 업데이트 내용을 공유했다.
 먼저 각인 키나 시스템이 도입된다. 각인 키나와 비각인 키나로 분리되며, 각인 키나는 캐릭터 간 이동이 불가능하다. 퀘스트와 솔로 플레이, 실렌티움 판매 보상이 각인 키나로 지급돼 시중에 풀리는 키나 총량이 20% 이상 줄어들 전망이다.
 PvE와 PvP 계수가 분리된다. PvP 전투에서 기본 피해량이 감소해 교전 시간이 길어지며, 기존 아이템 레벨 역보정 값도 전면 제거됐다. PvP 구역 내 치유량도 감소해 회복 클래스의 과도한 생존력이 조정된다.
 무적 스킬에도 변화가 적용된다. 근성과 구원의 지속 시간이 5초에서 3초로 단축되며, 한 번 발동 후 30초간 연속 적용이 불가능하다. 더불어 막기 스탯에 비례한 완벽 막기가 추가돼 상태이상 무시와 대폭 피해 감소가 가능해졌다.
 스티그마 장착 수가 4개에서 5개로 확장되며, 클래스별 신규 스티그마가 1종씩 추가된다. 기존에 활용도가 낮았던 스티그마도 대폭 개편돼 상황별 활용도가 높아졌다. 스티그마 샤드 수급처가 확대되며, 4월 8일까지 원정과 초월 샤드 획득량 2배 이벤트도 진행된다.
 혼돈의 어비스가 적용된다. 천족과 마족 구분 없이 서부·동부 진영으로 나뉘어 매칭되며, 서버별 매칭 조합도 확정됐다. 기존 역보정 버프와 보급 회랑이 제거되고, 어비스 입장 인원 제한도 원복돼 기존보다 수월하게 입장할 수 있다.
 어비스 개선 사항도 다수 적용된다. 장비 구입 조건이 해제되고, 훈장 제작에 필요한 랭킹 조건도 절반으로 축소됐다. 상위 훈장을 하위로 교환하는 기능이 추가되며, 하층과 중층에 몬스터 핫스팟도 추가돼 파밍 효율이 개선된다.
 계승 횟수가 시즌3 시작 전까지 이벤트로 20회 확대된다. 유일 장비에서 영웅 장비로의 계승 기능도 현재 작업 중이다. 전투력 측정기는 4월 1일 적용되며, 종족 이해도 프리셋과 경험치 완화, 아르카나 UI 개선도 함께 도입 예정이다.
 4월 중 유저 간담회 개최가 예고됐다. 개발진과 유저가 직접 만나 자유롭게 의견을 나누는 자리로, 수렴한 내용은 정리해 전체 유저에게 공유할 계획이다. 방송 내 룰렛을 통해 서울과 강원도, 제주도가 개최 지역으로 확정됐으며, 세부 일정과 장소는 추후 안내된다.
