 2025년 로스트아크의 겨울은 신규 클래스 '가디언나이트'와 1부 피날레 스토리 '심연의 끝을 마주한 자'로 따뜻할 예정이다.
 스마일게이트는 7일 서울 광진구 그랜드 워커힐 호텔 빛의시어터에서 2025 로스트아크 윈터 쇼케이스를 개최했다. 정소림 캐스터와 전재학 로스트아크 디렉터가 진행을 맡았으며, 빛의시어터를 활용한 오프닝 영상과 OST 공연 및 겨울 업데이트 로드맵이 공개됐다. 
 10일 로스트아크 최초의 오리지널 클래스 '가디언나이트'가 신규 클래스로 업데이트된다. 고유의 스킬 트라이포드 시스템을 가지고 있는 것이 특징이다. 또한 24일 로스트아크 1부 최종장 '심연의 끝을 맞이한 자'가 공개될 예정이다.
 신규 엔드 콘텐츠 그림자 레이드의 첫 레이드인 '고통의 마녀 세르카'가 기존의 노말, 하드에 나이트메어 난도를 합쳐 3개 난도로 출시되며, 새로운 장비 계승도 추가된다. 3월 업데이트 예정인 신규 스토리 카다룸 제도, 신규 어비스 던전 지평의 성당도 공개했다.
 전 디렉터는 "7년 동안 함께 해주신 여러분께 진심으로 감사드린다. 올해만큼 다사다난한 적이 없었는데, 많이 깨달았고 더 세련된 운영을 할 수 있을 것"이라며 감사를 전했다. 향후 로스트아크는 수직 콘텐츠 레이드를 견조하게 발전시키는 한편, 새로운 이야기와 모험 콘텐츠를 추가하며 흐려진 낭만을 다시 찾을 예정이다.
 그는 "2026년에는 새로운 모험, 새로운 변화의 바람이 불어오기 시작한다. 새해에는 모두가 뭉쳐 더 큰 감동 색다른 즐거움 선사할 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다"는 말로 2025 로스트아크 윈터 쇼케이스를 마무리했다.

 광폭화 이후 체력 회복이 없어 클리어할 수 있으며, 짧은 시간 압축된 전투가 가능하다. 대난투 게이지는 무력화 누적이 아니라 기믹 파훼 등을 통해 쌓이며, 대난투 상태에서는 스킬을 난사할 수 있다. 그림자 스킬은 배틀 아이템 슬롯에 넣어서 사용하는 스킬이다.
