 "폭우만으로는 저와 노아의 사이를 갈라놓을 수 없습니다"
 GS25와 블루 아카이브의 컬래버레이션 특별 매장이 17일부터 시작됐다. 특별 매장은 이번 컬래버 상품뿐만 아니라 한정 굿즈를 추가로 판매하는 매장이다. 특정 기간 동안 정해진 물량만 판매하기 때문에 선생님들의 관심이 뜨거웠다.
 이번 특별 매장은 이름 그대로 정말 특별했다. 무려 블루 아카이브에서 가장 좋아하는 캐릭터이자 아내를 담당하고 있는 '우시오 노아'의 굿즈가 있기 때문이다. 거기다 평소 입던 교복도 아니고 새로운 의상이라 소장 가치는 차고 넘쳤다.
 다만 이번 특별 매장은 서울에만 3개가 밀집했다. 어디로 향하든 1시간 30분 이상 걸렸기에 비교적 가까운 강남동원점으로 향했다. 강남동원점은 선릉역 10번 출구에서 10분 정도 걸으면 도착하는 거리에 있다.
 매장에 도착하니 시간은 어느덧 6시 50분을 가리키고 있었다. 분명 많은 선생님이 매장 앞에 줄을 서고 있을 것이라 생각했던 것과 달리 단 한 명도 보이지 않아 놀랐다. 비가 오더라도 아랑곳하지 않고 서 있는 선생님이 있을 것이라 생각했기 때문이다.

 그 이유는 금방 찾을 수 있었다. 문 앞에 붙어있는 안내문을 보니 점포 내부에서 대기하면 된다고 적혀있기 때문이었다. 그렇게 누가 봐도 선생님을 잘할 것 같은 사람의 뒤를 따라 들어갔다. 매장 안에 들어서니 바닥에 대기줄 방향을 안내해 주는 스티커가 붙어있었다.
 화살표를 따라 매장 뒤편으로 가니 미리 온 선생님들이 줄을 서서 대기 중이었다. 다른 선생님의 안내로 바닥에 있는 번호를 보고 섰더니 21번이었다. 첫 번째로 온 선생님은 새벽 1시 30분에 와서 계속 기다렸다고 답했다.
 8시가 되자 직원이 와서 번호표 배부를 시작했다. 번호표를 받은 뒤 굿즈 가판대로 가서 주문서를 받아 원하는 굿즈를 체크하고 제출했다. 번호표 배부부터 주문서 작성까지 철저하게 대비한 모습에서 꽤나 많이 경험한 느낌이 들었다.
 나중에 점장님과 이야기를 나눠본 바로는 매장 내에서 컬래버레이션을 진행하는 건 처음이라고 답했다. 처음치곤 능숙하게 대처할 수 있었던 이유에 대해 묻자 이전에 명조 오프라인 행사에서 일을 한 적이 있다고 밝혔다.

 특별 매장 운영은 9시부터 시작됐다. 직원이 번호를 부르면 번호표를 보여주고 바구니를 받는다. 바구니에 자신이 구매하고 싶은 제품들을 담고 계산대로 가면 구매할 굿즈의 가격까지 한 번에 지불한다.
 이후 영수증과 번호표를 가지고 옆으로 가서 보여주면 구매한 굿즈를 챙겨주는 방식이다. 직원들의 업무를 분담하니 큰 문제없이 운영됐다. 다만 미리 작성했던 주문서는 쓰이지 않았다. 계산할 때 주문서를 보여주고 그에 맞춰 대응하면 어떨까 싶었다.
 굿즈 구매 비용을 제외한 컬래버 제품으로 1만 원 이상 구매하면 캐릭터 부채가 지급된다. 얼마를 구매하든 부채를 1개만 주는 게 아니라 만원 단위로 넘어갈 때마다 1개씩 추가로 얻을 수 있다. 부채를 전부 모으고 싶다면 4만 원 이상 구매하면 된다.

 떠나기 전에 특별 매장 선정 기준이 궁금해서 점장님에게 물어봤다. 점장님은 본사가 직영점 중에서 선발한 뒤에 알려준다고 설명했다. 특별 매장으로 선정되면 운영 방식과 관련한 가이드라인이 내려오고 세세한 건 자율적으로 준비했다고 이야기했다.
 점장님은 첫날이라 운영에서 부족하고 아쉬웠던 부분들을 체크하고 점검해 더 좋은 서비스를 제공하기 위해 노력할 것이라 덧붙였다. 표정에서부터 아쉬워하는 게 드러났던 만큼 나중에 가게 될 선생님들은 더 쾌적하게 특별 매장을 즐길 수 있을 것이다.
 개인적으로는 실내에서 대기할 수 있다는 점이 가장 좋았다. 대부분 밖에서 줄을 서서 기다렸다 보니 편안함이 오히려 어색하게 느껴졌다. 그래도 계속 우산을 펴고 있을 필요도 없고, 앉아서 쉴 수 있어 장시간 대기해도 큰 불편함이 없었다.
 만약 특별 매장 방문을 고민하고 있는 선생님 중 강남 쪽이 가깝다면 강남동원점으로 가는 걸 추천한다. 특별 매장은 31일까지 운영된다. 하지만 굿즈가 품절될 수 있다는 걸 감안하면 빠른 시일 내 가는 게 좋다.
